What We Served
There was no frozen tzatziki. No pre-made dressing from a distributor. Every sauce, every dressing, every component started fresh. That's why people could taste the difference, even if they couldn't name it. This is what we made. This is what people still talk about.
We invented this. No one else was doing it — at least not in Natick, not like this. The Humtziki was born from the simple idea that our homemade hummus and our fresh tzatziki were each great on their own, but together they became something you couldn't stop eating.
Creamy, garlicky, with the brightness of fresh cucumber and dill cutting through the richness of the chickpeas. It came with everything. Customers would specifically ask for extra. Some ate it with a spoon. No judgment here.

This one was never on any distributor's list because it couldn't be. It's a family recipe — the kind that gets made by feel, adjusted by taste, and passed down without ever being written down properly.
Herbaceous, with the right amount of acid, the right amount of garlic, and an olive oil base that made everything it touched taste alive. This is the reason the salads were different. This is the one people asked about most. If you were a regular, you know exactly what we're talking about.

Everyone makes tzatziki. Not everyone makes tzatziki like this. Real strained Greek yogurt — thick, not watered down. Fresh cucumber, squeezed dry. Dill, lemon, good olive oil, and exactly the right amount of garlic (which is always more than you'd expect).
This was the benchmark. The thing that told you, from the first bite, that you were somewhere that actually cared. We served it as a dip, a condiment, a topping, and the base of the Humtziki. It made everything better.

Fresh greens, kalamata olives, feta, cucumber, tomato, red onion — all tossed in Mom's dressing. Then the protein: your choice of grilled marinated chicken (bright, lemony, herbaceous) or thinly sliced seasoned lamb (rich, smoky, tender).
These weren't afterthoughts. The grill was the point. Everything hit hot off the grill and went directly over the cold greens — the contrast was the whole experience. Simple. Perfect. The kind of salad that made people stop thinking about salad as a compromise.

People have been asking about this for years. The Humtziki. The Tzatziki. Mom's Dressing. The idea of being able to buy them, take them home, use them on everything — it's something we're exploring. If you want to be the first to know when (and if) that happens, get on the list.
